Olias problems?
Hey, I noticed Olias is trying to cast Jagged Bones & Death Nova but JB only lasts for a second after trying several times. DN won't work at all despite him trying almost constantly. They are 30 sec enchants & don't even show up under his skill bar. Also, he continues to cast the animate spells even after his max 10 minions are reached. Anyone else having these problems?
Thanks |

They arent problems, Jagged Bones and DN are cast on the minions, So you wont see them as enchantments,
And its better he keeps getting minions, Soul Reaping + Not as much degen on the minions and full health again. Hope i helped a bit =] |

Yup, both [jagged [email protected]] and [death [email protected]] are enchants cast upon minions, not the caster. That's why there's no "enchant" icon below Olias' bar.
Also, by creating minions even after he has reached 10, he is being a good MM. He is ensuring that his minions are as strong as possible and, because creating another pair of minions kills the oldest pair of existing minions, he is ensuring a constant supply of Soul Reaping energy to himself, Master of Whispers and Livia. That's how Sab's build works - synergy (Note - he can and will cast Death Nova on you, or himself, if you're likely to die - he mostly spams it on his minions)

Quick question, would death nova activate if it was cast on a minion that was destroyed due to having more than 10 minions?

I often run Olias with a Jagged bones death nova build he does a pretty good job.
Don't expect him to use Flesh golem intelligently though, its one necro skill the ai cannot handle. |

First of all, Only maintained enchantments show up on that skillbar
And second of all, trying to make more then 10? o.O Can you say ''free bombs''? He's being a good MM that way :P |

As mentioned, the 2 spells you mentioned (Death Nova and Jagged Bones) are not cast on Olias, but on the minions. If you target the minions you will see an arrow on their health bar that is displayed when targeted. This is top indicate they have an enchantment on them. When an MM reaches 10 minions, he can't get 11. However, he can't keep 10 minions 100% of the time, even with Jagged Bones. Eventually the degen will kill them off faster then Jagged Bones will recharge. Plus, combat will kill them. Getting new ones means there is less degen, and it kills off the ones with degen which fuels the Soul Reaping battery. |

Because DN and JB Olias spends a lot of time for preparations before battle. So, if you dislike it, try next build:
DM 16/SR 13 Order of Undeath {E} Animate Bone Horror Animate Vampiric Horror Animate Shambling Horror Blood of Master Anything for dmg: Deathly Swarm/Putrid Bile Signet of Lost Souls I use it and believe, that one is more power (in places, where aren't problems with flesh), that "classical" JB or Flesh Golem builds. Especially, if you have another necro in your team with this build: Curses 16/SR 13: SS, Desecrate/Defile Enchantments, Reckless Haste, Mark of Pain Of course, you will have more offensive team and must have a good healing. u really dun need 3 minions... i'd do [animate vampiric horror] as main + [animate bone fiend] when its recharging both these take the most advantage from [order of undeath] as for self-heal [dark bond] + [blood renewal] should be good nuff u'll find it quite energy intensive spamming 10en oou every 6s and 25en minions...so u mite consider [glyph of lesser energy] |

snaek I'm agree about self-healing. Look at: Of course, you will have more offensive team and must have a good healing.
But I'm heal-monk with big experience and use addidional monk-prot-hench in my team. About Dark Bond and Blood Renewal: I don't want to invest to Blood Magic. So I use Taste of Death or Foul Feast in hard places. Odinary I'd prefer 2 offensive skill, which Olias can use without minions. About E-managment. This build is good only in flesh-rich places. Because of you mustn't have problems with energy (if you have enough Soul Reaping, of course). If you do, use odinary "Flesh Golem"-build. |

Very easy answer - I did this picture by Photoshop ). I have enough money to buy this armor, but I dislike to buy things, which are better only skins, but properties.
